Zooble is one of the main characters in The Amazing Digital Circus, an animated web series created by Gooseworx and produced by GLITCH Productions.
Before entering the circus, they were once human, but like the others, they were transformed into a colorful and bizarre cartoon-like avatar — specifically, a mismatched toy-like being made of many parts resembling zolo blocks. Zooble stands out for their short temper and sarcasm, often reacting with frustration to the surreal events around them. They are known to avoid participating in Caine’s chaotic games when given the choice.
Despite their grumpy aloof attitude, Zooble has shown signs of care toward the others and tries to keep a level head in the madness of the digital world. They possess many intellectually and emotionally admirable qualities like being emotionally mature, smart and being a voice of reason who speaks their mind out. Even though Zooble can be a little mean sometimes, it's revealed in episode 3 that it's because Zooble is not comfortable with their body.
The character is voiced by Ashley Nichols.
Their Good Zone[]
Their Heroic Deeds[]
PILOT[]
- Even though Zooble does indeed strangle Jax, it's completely justified since Jax used Zooble's arm as a backscratcher without their permission (and Jax deserved it for being super disrespectful to them). They also told Jax to shut up when Jax was trying to terrify Pomni.
Candy Carrier Chaos![]
- They finished getting the grave of Kaufmo ready and set up.
The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor[]
- Not only did Zooble have to put up with Caine being far too much of an incompetent therapist for Zooble to deal with when they were trying to explain their insecurities to Caine, they eventually (and not to mention ironically) become Caine's therapist itself (and even plays along with Caine's pointless request with pretending to not be in a therapy session and acting like nothing happened).
- Even though this moment was all entirely meant to be played for comedy, but it also shows a socially admirable side to Zooble being that chill about helping others and hearing others out for their concerns and problems despite their own situation.
Fast Food Masquerade[]
- Zooble willingly offered and gave Gangle a happy mask so Gangle could feel better after Jax had inadvertently broke Gangle's mask during practice.
- Zooble calls out Caine on making an adventure that deeply disturbed and traumatized Pomni, and they also tell Caine to go to the suggestion box in response to Caine acting childishly defensive about suggesting better adventures that they would like. It's important to remember that Zooble tells Caine this right after hearing Pomni out and seeing how much the haunted mansion adventure gave her plenty of stressful memories.
- At the restaurant chain Spudsys, while Zooble is working hard to avoid getting into trouble with Caine, they suggest Jax to not push too many boundaries to find unpleasant sides to Caine that could cause potential drama and chaos for everyone all around them since the only thing holding Caine back from even showing such a bad side is that he likes the residents in the tent, and once Gangle spots that Ragatha is not working in her drunken state, they go to help Ragatha assemble burgers since they want Ragatha to continue working efficiently.
- Even though Gangle's happy mask made her act crazy, bipolar and almost unhinged, Zooble felt remorse as they picked up how sad Gangle had become as she walked away during the shift, empathetically picking up that Gangle was feeling destroyed by drunk Ragatha's unintentionally mean comment about Gangle being annoying with her happy mask.
- Due to Ragatha not able to walk or think normally in her drunken state, Zooble takes Ragatha home with Zooble's car and drived her safely back to the tent.
- When Gangle is sad of what she did to people today at Spudsys (and seeing herself as too much of a mess-up for anyone to like talking to her), Zooble, out of the goodness of their heart, comforts Gangle in her saddest moment by saying they still like to talk to Gangle, reassures Gangle that they'll eventually find something that works for Gangle despite the happy mask being a bust, cheers her up by encouraging her to hang out with the friends (as well as showing her drawings to her friends as well), and ultimately become good friends with Gangle, thus making Gangle ultimately grateful for even having a friend like Zooble.
Untitled[]
- They punish Jax a couple of times by making him vegan to tame his feral side so Jax couldn't ferociously bite any of his friends until the adventure was nearly over (and Jax only mauling Evil Jax as a result).
- They even schemed with Gangle to have him wear a maid's dress to get even with Jax for being rude to Zooble and Ragatha at the bar (especially taking what Jax said about Zooble not liking to have fun and using it against Jax).
- Despite pulling a unpredictable revenge prank on Jax, they had also shown genuine concern for Gangle when Jax tried chasing her angrily and hearing Gangle wailing while she was running away from Jax.
Why Don’t They Stand Out?[]
- While Zooble passes the baseline by comforting Gangle and making Jax a vegan, Zooble fails the admirable standards to Kinger and Pomni, who take on more leadership and problem-solving roles (especially Pomni). Zooble also likes to skip the adventures any chance they got.
- Despite not being as much of a jerk like Jax is, Zooble can still be a little jerkish at times and is often way too irritable (sometimes a little too wrathful for NPG), as Zooble is very grumpy, grouchy, quite sarcastic, sometimes apathetic and brutally honest in a blunt way.
- When Pomni meets Ragatha and the rest, and Zooble made their departure by saying they're there if they need anything, they also said if they have nothing to tell them then go away by flipping their friends off with the finger before suddenly getting taken apart by the Gloinks.
- When Zooble naturally asks for help to rescue them from the Gloink Queen's Gloinks taking their body parts, they were frustrated enough to yell at Kinger, Jax, and Gangle hard, and calling all of them idiots when they are standing and doing nothing to help Zooble (which made Jax act dismissive and deliberately unhelpful in response for being "kind of rude").
- While understandably frustrated, Zooble insults Kinger with a swear word when Kinger failed to rescue them.
- They mocked Caine's adventure that their friends did by calling it a "home run", which almost made Caine snap at her.
- When Jax made up a story to reference Breaking Bad, they interrupted Jax, treated it like it didn't matter and told him to be more creative if Jax was making up a story since Zooble knows what Jax was referencing.
- They can be a little spiteful towards Jax at times (even if he does indeed deserve it).
- While understandable, Zooble flipped the finger at Jax and told him to go away when Jax teased Zooble by saying their limbs turn straight as a stupid heterosexuality joke Jax made to annoy Zooble.
- Not only did Zooble tell Jax they wouldn't give anything to him in response to Jax's sarcasm, they also placed a suggestion in the Suggestion Box that involves Jax not allowed to talk though the entire day (which is understandable since Jax often speaks pettily and maliciously like a bully would even passing the heinous standards with many awful acts ever since episode 2, and Zooble's suggestion was hurtful enough for a good reason to share with everyone since Jax's suggestion was for Zooble to be beaten up by everyone).
- When Jax was whining and complaining about his vegan punishment at the bar as soon as Jax ordered for a sour whisky without a egg-white, Zooble admits they could have exacerbated Jax's predicament by telling Jax they could have made his situation a whole lot worse for him.
- When Jax reveals to everyone of his fear of corn at the bar, they test scaring him twice (and even does it at the softball stadium to make Jax jumpy when Jax least expects it).
Trivia[]
- If Zooble does more admiral things in the upcoming episodes, Zooble could be deemed Inconsistently Admirable (or possibly Near Pure Good if they subvert their jerkish side in later episodes).
