Yuki Yoshida (吉田由紀 Yoshida Yuki) is a minor character in The Amazing World of Gumball. She is Nicole Watterson's childhood friend and former arch-nemesis in martial arts. She is also Masami's mother and Mr. Yoshida's wife.

After Nicole beat Yuki in the final match of the "Elmore Kumite" tournament, Yuki felt disgraced. She returned to America to fight and beat Nicole in order to reclaim her honor.

She is voiced by Naoko Mori.

She is shown to care about both her husband, Mr. Yoshida, and daughter, Masami.
She was best friends with Nicole throughout their childhood and helped her train and become an expert martial artist, with Nicole serving as Yuki's protégé during the "Elmore Kumite" tournament.
Yuki came second place in the tournament and defeated several villains, "Geosesarma" being one of them.
Even while antagonizing Nicole, she is shown to have retained her respect for her by noting that she has "fought well" and remarking her ability to deflect Yuki's attacks.
When the school gym's roof began collapsing during their fight, which endangered Masami and Nicole's children, Gumball, Darwin and Anais, Yuki and Nicole teamed up to save them from the debris that was trapping them before grabbing the kids and saving them from the collapsing room.
After the fight, Yuki redeems herself and apologizes to Nicole, admitting that she was just jealous and noting how much she missed her.

Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]

While she passes the baseline due to helping Nicole rescue the 4 children, especially with her very minimal screen time, she fails the admirable standards compared to her own arch-nemesis, Nicole, her children, Gumball, Darwin and Anais, Carrie Krueger, Alan Keane and Rob.
She spends the majority of screen time during her only major role as a very prideful, arrogant, spiteful anti-villain who insults and harasses Nicole all day. She destroys her car, wears her down at work, and even suggestively flirts with her husband Richard (which Richard is visibly uncomfortable with) before forcing her to a physical brawl under the threat of losing her job and house. Yuki is also quite volatile and irritable in general.
- While she redeems herself and apologizes, she only appears in cameo appearances afterwards, making it not enough to prove she fully subverted her negative traits.
