Yoren, is a character from "A Song of Ice and Fire" novels and its HBO television adaption "Game of Thrones". He is a sworn brother of the Night's Watch that wanders the Seven Kingdoms as a recruiter, who gets Arya out of King's Landing after her father's death. He is killed protecting Arya and Gendry from Amory Lorch and Tywin Lannister's soldiers.
In the show, he is portrayed by Francis Magee.

- Searches for new recruits for the Night's Watch.
- Warns Eddard Stark after his wife was captured by Tyrion Lannister. This gives Eddard a chance to escape King's Landing before he get attacked by the Lannisters.
- Despite her father getting executed, he still looked after Arya.
- Saves Arya Stark by disguising her as a boy and brings her back to the North. He also assisted Gendry despite being a wanted man.
- Helps Arya recite names of her wanted men, and assists her getting revenge on some of her family's enemies.
- When Lannister soldiers ordered him to give them Gendry, he refused, and valiantly died fighting them.
Why he Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- He fails the high admirable standards of Game of Thrones, because he has little screen time and he doesn't contribute to much in the plot.
- He is lethal, having killed a man named Willem out of revenge for the latter killing his brother, or threatening to kill one of the Lannister's soldiers.
