Of course not! Clairvoyance is clairvoyance!! Don't put it in the same category as cattle mutilation!
~ Yasuhiro about his ultimate talent.
If there's no road, you just gotta build one! Creation... Fate is telling me to remake the world! That's...my hope!
~ Yasuhiro to the remaining survivors of the Killing School Life.

Yasuhiro Hagakure or simply Hiro also known as the Ultimate Clairvoyant is a major supporting character in the Danganronpa franchise, as he is mainly featured in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc the first installment of the franchise as well as it's anime adaptation. He is a student of Hope's Peak Academy as well as a participant and survivor of the Killing School Life.

He is voiced by Masaya Matsukaze in the Japanese version of both the game and anime, by Kaiji Tang in the English version of the game, and by Christopher Bevins in the English version of the anime.

His Good Ranking[]

His Heroic Deeds[]

  • Invites Makoto to go drinking with him (despite both of them being underage) in an affable manner when he introduces himself.
  • Comforted Chihiro when he started feeling guilty for voting Leon, stating that voting him guilty does not mean they killed him themselves.
  • In the second trial encourages Hifumi to share evidence even when Hifumi feels it is not important.
  • Tries to console Taka after the execution of Mondo Owada.
  • Yells for help to get Hina into the infirmary room to heal her.
  • Forgives Hina for almost getting everyone killed.
  • Apologizes to Makoto for voting him in the fifth class trial.
  • Tries to save Makoto, Aoi, and Kyoko who are stuck in the future foundation headquarters to endure the final killing game.

Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]

  • Though he is friendly and affable he very much fails the admirable standards of the franchise as he does very little in comparison to others.
  • A lot of his heroic deeds are general friendly gestures and mannerisms.
  • He tried to scam Makoto of money in an attempt to pay for his debts.
  • Although Sakura didn't hold it against him in the end, he still smashed a monokuma bottle onto Sakura's head giving her a bleeding head injury.
    • Thinking Sakura was dead after he had hit her on the head he also tried to frame Toko for the crime.
