Wave the Swallow is a supporting character in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. She is one of the Babylon Rouges with Jet and Storm. She is the most level-headed of the three, taking charge whenever Jet cannot get things done. She does not get along with Storm, and is a rival to Tails (who is friendlier towards her than she is towards him).
She is voiced by Chie Nakamure in the Japanese version, and by Bella Hudson (2005-2010), and currently Kate Higgins (2010-present) in the English version.

Her Heroic Deeds[]
- Although she yells at Jet and Storm, she genuinely means well for them.
- She helped Sonic and co. stop the Babylon Guardian.
- She helped stop the Metal Virus and the Deadly Six.
- She helps Sonic and his friends stop Master Core: ABIS at the end of Zero Gravity.
- She has respect for her enemies as she privately admits that Tails’ Extreme Gear is powerful. She also views Sonic's team as worthy.
- Despite her rivalry with Sonic and Tails, she is willing to put her differences aside in Olympic Games, being a playable character and even teaming up with Sonic to defeat other villains.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- While she does pass the general baseline, many of her actions of helping to save the world are common for the franchise, thus causing her to fail the in-series heinous standards.
- She's on and off, sometimes stealing treasure and even stealing Knuckles' Master Emerald.
- She planted a bomb on Tails' board.
- She's arrogant and a jerk to others for no general reason.
