Jheselbraum the Unswerving, better known as The Oracle, is one of the two overarching protagonists (alongside the Axolotl) of Disney's Gravity Falls franchise. She is a mysterious extra-dimensional creature with seven eyes who can see into the past and future that is considered to be the opposite of her archenemy, Bill Cipher.

Her Good Ranking[]

Her Heroic Deeds[]

  • Although she did work for Bill Cipher has a henchmaniac, her reasons for doing it and the crimes she committed are unclear, meaning it is possible she was forced to serve him. Even then, she has long cut ties with him.
  • It is heavily implied she has fought against Bill and been a threat to his reign for a long time.
  • Despite her nature, nothing implies she has Moral Agency Issues, especially since she is implied to have similar origins to Bill, who is Pure Evil.
  • She doesn't hate Bill despite being enemies with him.
  • She rescued Stanford from another dimension, then instructed him on how to defeat Bill Cipher, even giving him the metal plate in his head to prevent Bill from entering his head. This helped in the long term as it would prevent Bill from being able to use Stanford's head to expand his chaos beyond Gravity Falls.
  • She saved the other Henchmaniacs from Bill after his imprisonment and let them live in other dimensions.

Why Does She Not Stand Out?[]

  • She fails the Admirable Standard to the majority of the main cast who do much more with presumably far less resources. While she does have influence in helping Stanford, she fails in this regard to Stanley who has a much more direct impact by rescuing Stanford from the Nightmare Realm in addition to sacrificing himself to defeat Bill. Additionally, while she has fought Bill before, it is completely offscreen and many characters in the series play an important role in stopping him. Her act of saving the Henchmaniacs is outdone by others like Pacifica who rescued hundreds in the Northwest Mansion.
