Talisman, also referred to as Garuda 1, is the main protagonist of the video game Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. He is a Republic of Emmeria Air Force lieutenant who protected his homeland from the Estovakian invaders alongside his wingman Shamrock.

- He fought against the Estovakian invasion since day one, even managing to down the flight lead of their elite Strigon Squadron during the battle over Gracemeria.
- He and Shamrock protected the Emmerian forces' last bastion against an Estovakian bomber raid, allowing them to survive and fight another day.
- When Emmeria started a counteroffensive, he and Shamrock actively participated in crucial battles, providing air support to their ground allies and assistance to allies in the air.
- While he followed Shamrock in his needlessly reckless attempt to free Gracemeria without the high command's orders, it was arguably justified by the need to protect his wingman.
- He destroyed Estovakia's WMD stocks to prevent them from destroying Gracemeria while retreating.
- After Emmeria was liberated, he took part in the raid on the Estovakian railgun, Chandelier, to stop it from destroying Gracemeria, and destroyed it.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out[]
- While his long list of heroic feats, from playing a crucial role in liberating his homeland to saving its capital from destruction, allow his to meet the baseline standards, such acts are very commonplace in the Ace Combat series, making Talisman fail the standards to heroes who did more admirable acts with similar resources, such as Blaze, who played a large role in stopping the Circum-Pacific War and preventing the SOLG satellite from destroying half of Osea or Yuktobania, Mobius 1, who helped liberate all of Usea and stopped the Megalith from raining asteroid fragments down on the continent's cities, and Phoenix, who thwarted the Usean Rebel Forces' attempt to start a world war.
