Sweetie Belle is a major supporting character in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She is a young unicorn who is a part of a group called the Cutie Mark Crusaders, along with her friends Apple Bloom and Scootaloo, in which they try to find their cutie marks, that symbolize their talents. She is also Rarity's younger sister.
After she and her friends finally gain their cutie marks, that reflects their new objective: Helping other ponies find their own cutie marks.
She is voiced by Claire Corlett.

- She stands against Diamond Tiara, alongside her friends, at Cute-ceañera.
- She finds the chicken after it escaped from the chicken coop.
- She, alongside Apple Bloom and Scootaloo, stopped Big Mac and Cheerilee, who were under love poison, from getting together.
- Apologizes to everypony for spreading an embarrassing and hurtful gossips.
- She prevents Babs Seed from falling into their trap and reforming her.
- She helps Spike chase Angel to get him back.
- She trained to compete into becoming flag bearers.
- She helped Trouble Shoes learned what his cutie mark means and make his dream come true.
- She was the first one to tell and admit that she feels bad for Diamond Tiara for having a strict mom Spoiled Rich and how she treated Diamond Tiara horribly.
- She reforms Diamond Tiara by offering friendship.
- After she got her Cutie Mark, she continued to help other ponies to find theirs and/or discovering what they truly mean.
- She pranks Rainbow Dash back to teach her a lesson of prank limits.
- She helped Cozy Glow with the Friendship test. Despite the latter being a malicious, power-hungry pony, neither Sweetie Belle nor her friends knew that at the time.
- She helped in defeating Cozy Glow by distracting her so the Young Six could free Chancellor Neighsay.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?
- Like the rest of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, she fails the high Admirable Standard of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic to the Mane 6 despite having fewer resources than them and going as far as redeeming a bully and saving someone from a trap.
- She can be mischievous and a jerk at times:
- She argued with her sister Rarity over her behavior and refused to reconcile with her.
- She ruined her sister's headdress of Sapphire Shores' costume out of jealousy.
- She argued with Scootaloo over where Terramar should choose to live.
