Skylor Chen is a major character in LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu. She is the Elemental Master of Amber as well as the daughter of Master Chen. Skylor initially was a villain who worked for Chen in order to achieve his plans but after falling in love with Kai she betrays him and redeems herself becoming an ally to the Ninja.

In General[]
- While she started out as a villain who worked for Chen in order to achieve his plans, after spending time with Kai and falling in love with him, she felt remorse for her villainy, and with Kai's help she redeemed herself and stopped being a villain, becoming one of the Ninja's closest allies.
- While she did manipulate Kai at first in order to gain his trust, so Chen will steal the Elemental Masters's powers for his plans, she felt remorse for doing so and genuienly grew to love Kai as he was the main reason she redeemed herself, and often went out of her way to protect him, and they spend time together even though it is not often due to her not being a Ninja.
- She is a polite and affable person who cares for her friends and often tries to help them when it is needed.
- She often attends important events for the Ninja, such as their victory after defeating Garmadon and Nya's funeral after her sacrifice.
- She often assists the Ninja when dangerous villains attempt to destroy Ninjago and cause omnicide, going out of her way to protect the people.
- After her father was banished to the Cursed Realm, she took over his noodle empire and serves good food to her clients at low prices.
Tournament of Elements[]
- She felt remorse for her villainy and told Chen to spare Kai from slavery in order to make up to Kai and claiming that he can help him.
- Along with Kai she stopped Chen's ritual to become fake Anacondrai, saving Lloyd and restoring everyone's powers, defeating the Anacondrai Cultists, even getting herself captured in the process.
- She saw through Chen's manipulation towards her in order to use her to become fake Anacondrai and escaped from him succesfully, sending a message to the Elemental Masters to find her and rescue her.
- She hugged Kai when they reunited.
- She saved Kai from Chen by punching him and managed to escape.
- She correctly pointed out that the Anacondrai Cultists tricked the Elemental Masters in order to separate them helping them realize that.
- She also pointed out that Chen's spell to become Anacondrai was only temporary.
- She stopped Wu from scolding Garmadon, saying that Chen tried to turn them against each other (although Wu had every right to be mad at Garmadon, due to plagiarizing Wu's letter towards Misako as his own, which won Misako's heart).
- She along with the other Elemental Masters fought the Anacondrai Cultists, trying to stop them from conquering Ninjago.
- She personally confronted Chen for his villainous deeds.
- After they defeated Chen, before she left, she told to Dareth that she will add the Puffy Potsticker back in the menu.
- She also told to Kai that they will keep in touch.
Possesion - The Hands of Time[]
- She welcolmed Ronin to her restaurant, befriended him and even gave him a free meal.
- She assisted Jay when he recruited her in his temporary new team to rescue the Ninja, infiltrating in Djinjago and later defended the Djinn Blade along with the others, managing to stall enough time so Jay and the others could have escaped from the blade.
- She gave advice to Kai related to his issues with his dissapeared parents when he believed that they were working for the Time Twins and were evil, telling him that he can choose his own destiny and not end up like his parents, relating to her history with her father Chen.
Hunted[]
- After hearing from Mistake that the Ninja need help, she along with the other Elemental Masters saved the Ninja from the Sons of Garmadon and helped them escape by driving a truck to their hideout.
- She told to Lloyd that his powers will return, trying to make him feel better about himself.
- She along with Lloyd and the others infiltrated Borg's tower (Garmadon's base after he conquered Ninjago) in order for Lloyd to leave a message to the citizens that he will stop Garmadon.
- She even combined the powers of invisibilty and shadow in order to hide them from Garmadon.
- She fought the Sons of Garmadon, saving Lloyd from Harumi and managed to escape along with Lloyd, Nya and Dareth.
- She brought food for the others.
- She along with the others captured Harumi, so Mistake will shapeshift into her and infiltrate Garmadon's base with Skylor, so she can absorb his powers, later succeding in doing so.
- She was saddened when she found out that Mistake died, as seen when she told the others about her death.
- She managed to use Garmadon's powers to prevent the Collosus from crushing her, Nya, Lloyd and Dareth, saving them.
- She defeated Killow and Ultra Violet by using the Collosus, and almost defeated Garmadon, but due to his powers being too strong she failed and got unconcious.
Crystalized[]
- After being called by Lloyd, she came to the Monastery and having absorbed Zane's powers she used them in order to keep Nya frozen so Aspheera will use her staff to drain her powers and become human again, succeding in doing so.
- She fought the Council of the Crystal King members.
- She saved Kai and Cole from Pythor and helped them escape to their hideout.
- She cooked food for the Resistance.
- While she did lash out at Kai for wanting a relationship with her, it was understandable because he did not spent much time together enough with her recently and it was only a heat-up moment (it was also understandable on Kai's part due to having to protect Ninjago many times occupying his time). After the final battle they are seen together and almost kissed.
- In a canon book "Quest for the Lost Powers" she reconciled her relationship with Kai, and started dating.
- She participated in the Resistance and fought the Crystal army.
- After Ninjago was saved she helped the Ninja rebuild their monastery.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- While redeeming herself to stop Chen, saving the Ninja multiple times and assisting the Ninja in stopping threats to Ninjago allows her to pass the baseline, she fails the high admirable standards of the show to other characters who have done much more to save Ninjago and the other realms.
- While she did redeem herself and stopped Master Chen (at first), it was shared with Kai, meaning that she fails the standards to him who did more and also helped her to reform. She also fails the standards to Garmadon who banished himself to the Cursed Realm to stop Chen from conquering all of Ninjago.
- While she protected the Resistance and used The Collosus to try to defeat Garmadon, she fails the standards to Lloyd who defeated Garmadon only by himself and saved Ninjago from his harsh rule.
- While she assisted the Ninja and helped them bring Nya back along with saving Kai and Cole, she fails the standards to Ronin who redeemed villains that assisted them and helped repair Zane and to the Ninja who sacrificed the Golden Weapons and possibly themselves to stop The Overlord's omnicide.
- Overall while Skylor does do many heroic acts that pass the baseline, she does not play major roles in directly stopping villains that threaten Ninjago.
