Shigekiyo Yangu, also known as Shigechi, is a supporting character from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable.
He is a Stand User who wields the Stand Harvest. Shigechi is rather naïve and unintelligent, never thinking of creative ways to use his stand other than collecting change. He is also greedy and possessive, especially when it comes to money.
Shigechi is voiced by Kappei Yamaguchi in Japanese and Brian Beacock in English.

- After Josuke complimented his work of gathering coins, Shigechi happily offered half of his money to his new friends.
- When Josuke and Okuyasu asked him to collect lottery tickets for money, he agreed to share half of the money to them.
- Although he once became greedy and attacked Josuke and Okuyasu to claim all the money, after being defeated, he learned from his mistakes and split the price into thirds.
- When he witnessed the woman's hand in Yoshikage Kira's sandwich bag, he immediately called out Harvester to attack him.
- After being severely injured by Killer Queen's bomb, he distracted Kira by Harvest and hid.
- After Kira threatened to kill his parents, he swore to protect his father and mother, hobbled to the school with his wounded body, and tried to warn Josuke and Okuyasu.
- Even after he got exploded by the bomb doorknob, he still activated his last Harvest to deliver a button on Kira's coat, which later became a clue in tracking Kira.
- After Reimi informed Josuke and his friends about Shigechi's sacrifice, Josuke got saddened and angered, swearing to defeat Kira to revenge him. Even the aloof and aggressive Yukako Yamagishi was distraught to hear about his death, with her saying that it was something horrific.
- Overall, Shigechi's sacrifice is the reason why Kira became Josuke's archenemy, as well as the main motive driving Josuke to defeat Kira.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- Although he sacrificed his life revealing information about Yoshikage Kira, his admirable deeds are done only after Kira threatens to kill his parents, so he still fails the admirable standard to Josuke and other heroes.
- He fails to take advantage his resources too, as Harvester is one of the strongest Stands in Morioh (even Josuke acknowledges that), but Shigechi's incompetence prevents him from using his stand effectively.
- Even after he redeems himself, he remains greedy and selfish, as is shown in his possessive attitude towards his sandwich.
