His Good Ranking[]
His Heroic Deeds[]
- He saved Leonard from being blown up and doesn’t even rat him out to the land lord for inadvertently blowing up the elevator.
- Sheldon agrees to assist Leonard in getting Penny's TV back from Kurt (which is her violent ex-boyfriend). Even though he didn't succeed, Penny is actually grateful that he tried.
- In The Grasshopper Experiment Sheldon, with a little kindness and his major understanding of Indian culture—to the point that even Raj is ignorant of the subject—manages to save Lalita from Raj's distasteful and impolite behaviour after the latter was unpleasant to her while intoxicated.
- The Loobenfeld Decay: Sheldon goes to major lengths to make a ideal lie, so that he spares Penny's feelings.
- The Creepy Candy Coating Corollary: After learning that Wil Wheaton had a legitimate explanation for skipping a science fiction conference several years ahead of schedule (which made Sheldon abhor him because he sacrificed a lot in order to travel there simply to see him). He throws the card game they're playing because he is really overtaken with guilt for willing to beat him. This doesn't last long, though, because it soon becomes clear that Wil was only lying in order to win the match.
- The Apology Insufficiency: He spends the remainder of the episode feeling blameworthy about unintentionally putting Howard's opportunity at risk to work with a crucial laser. Eventually, he succeeds in making up by offering him a space on their sofa, which he views as his lone source of stability in an extremely chaotic universe. Had Howard not boasted about how awesome it was, he possibly would have even let Howard keep it.
- The Cooper Extraction: He returns to his native Texas in order to support Missy in giving birth. In the same episode, it is also revealed that Sheldon turned Amy's photograph into his screensaver (she's actually part of a collage of photos, however she's still there). As as a consequence, the group discovers that they wouldn't have each other due to most of their relationships formed as a result of him.
- The Comic Book Regeneration: He worries about Howard, whose mother passed away lately. Though Howard has peers who have gone through parent death, he tells Howard he too lost his father. Sheldon's condolences and announcement of Howard's mother's passing bring Penny to tears.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- His heroism is bog standard as it is mainly about him just being a nice person. Also, he only saved the life of Leonard once, which is pretty bog standard.
- He is way too jerkish and insensitive to be NPG and often says mean and brutally honest things to his own friends. Although to be fair due to his autism, he is usually unaware of how rude he’s being and doesn’t usually mean to hurt people’s feelings.
- He is very arrogant as he is always bragging about how smart he is.
- He can be very wrathful and can lose his temper pretty easily.
- He can somewhat be selfish at times as he often complains when things don’t go his way.
