Sakuya Izayoi is one of the tritagonists of the Touhou Project franchise.
She is the head maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion who diligently serves Remilia Scarlet. She is the only human living in the mansion, commanding the fairy maids due to them being useless. She has the ability to control time.

- Despite initially introduced as a villain in Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, who aids Remilia in her plan to block out the Sun in Gensokyo, after being defeated by Reimu and Marisa, she joined them to become a incident solver.
- In Perfect Cherry Blossom, after knowing that the winter supplies in Scarlet Mansion are diminishing quickly, she departs to end this prolonged winter before they run out completely.
- Upon learning that the moon had been replaced by a fake one, she partnered with Remilia to head to the moon to discover why and find the real moon in Imperishable Night.
- Investigating the reason why the Scarlet Devil Mansion is enveloped in a cloudy dense haze in Scarlet Weather Rhapsody.
- In Double Dealing Character, she joined Reimu and Marisa to solve the predicament of previously peaceful Youkai's sudden transformation into violence, as well as stopping Seija and her minions from performing a social upheaval.
Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- While stopping the eternal winter caused by Yuyuko, as well as stopping Seija from plunging Gensokyo into chaos are enough to pass the baseline, she fails the admirable standards to Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame, both of whom have done more active heroism independently.
