Ronald Prevo is a major protagonist in the 2022 horror film Halloween Ends, the third and final installament of the 2018 timeline of John Carpenter’s Halloween franchise. He is the stepfather of Corey Cunningham and the husband of Joan Cunningham. He was portrayed by Rick Moose

- He takes the spot of a father figure in Corey’s life due to Joan kicking Corey’s biological father Walter out.
- He shown to genuinely care for his stepson giving him his old 70’s Kawasaki 175 enduro motorcycle.
- Unlike Joan who sheltered Corey Ronald let Corey do whatever he wanted believing that he needed to get out sometime.
- In the films novelization he doesn’t tolerate his other coworkers talking rudely about Corey.
- When Joan berates Ronald for not watching Corey causing his hand to get injured (when in actuality it was Terry’s fault) instead of blaming Corey he defends him saying "I can’t keep my eyes on him every second".
- He tells Corey not to mention the motorcycle to Joan knowing how she’ll react.
- When meeting Allyson for the first time he allows Corey to take a break from work to allow Allyson to try and drive his motorcycle.
- He’s shown to be friendly towards Robert Tramer despite his abusive nature to Terry (It is possible Ronald never knew that Roberts son was bullying Corey.).
- When told by Corey that he’s leaving Haddonfield with Allyson he’s genuinely happy for him unlike Joan.

- When Terry banged in the mechanic shops window screaming for help he lets him inside,

- when seeing his stepson in his mechanic overalls holding Michael Myers mask he doesn’t shot him with the revolver he has with him.
- He heroically stands up between Terry and Corey causing Terry to accidentally shoot him while Ronald was only trying to protect his stepson showing he deeply loved him.
Why He Doesn’t Stand Out?[]
- He fails the admirable standards to Laurie Strode who killed Michael Myers while also trying to help Corey.
- He can go behind Joan’s back and lie sometimes such as lying he was busy at work when really he was watching an action movie in his computer in his workshop.
