Ranger Martinez is a supporting character in We Bare Bears. He is a park ranger who is a friend of Ranger Tabes, having previously worked with her mother when she was young.

He is voiced by Keith Ferguson, who voices many other characters in the same show.

In general, he serves as a helpful and supportive ally to Ranger Tabes and her mother before her, along with the three bears.
In "Creature Mysteries", he helps Tabes with finding a mysterious creature, who is later revealed to be the Bears' friend Charlie.
In "Christmas Parties", he and other forest rangers help Tabes with planning out and hosting her Christmas party.
In "Lunch with Tabes", he assists Tabes, Grizz, Panda and Ice Bear with finding the culprit behind the mystery.
In "Ranger Games", he serves as the host and announcer for the annual Peewee Ranger Games, and assists the Poppy Rangers with defeating their arch-rivals, the mean-spirited Ivy Rangers, by supporting them with his in-game announcements. After the Poppies win the game, he presents them and Tabes the trophy.
In "Ranger Norm", he arrives with Norm's golfing equipment on the scene where Norm is threatening to self-destruct his bulldozer and kill everybody in his path as well as destroy the entire forest, being oblivious to what's going on. This allows Ice Bear to take a golf club and swing a golf ball into Norm's face, defeating him.
In We Bare Bears: The Movie, he along with Tabes and the Poppy Rangers assist the Bears in defeating Agent Trout, leading to Trout's well-deserved imprisonment and preventing him from unlawfully capturing and torturing the three Bears.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]

While he passes the baseline due to assisting with successfully defeating both Norm and Agent Trout, he still drastically fails the admirable standards to both Tabes and the three bears, who have done far more admirable deeds throughout the show.
