Queen Uberta is one of the supporting characters of The Swan Princess. As the former ruler of Chamberg, she is Prince Derek's mother.
In the original film, she was voiced by Sandy Duncan.
Her Good Rankings[]
Her Heroic Deeds[]
In General[]
- She is a loving and jolly monarch over her subjects, guards, and castle staff.
- She is a supporting mother to Derek.
- Despite being at odds at times, she is a caring boss to Lord Rogers and Sir Chamberlain, as well as her castle staff.
The Swan Princess[]
- She wanted to unite her kingdom with King William by having Derek and Odette marry.
- She encouraged Derek to find another princess after Odette is not seen and kidnapped by Rothbart.
- She threw a ball and ordered Chamberlain to send four guards to escort the Ladies and Lords to the party
In the Sequels[]
- In the third film, she and Rogers won a tango contest.
- In the fifth film onwards, she is shown to be caring and support her adopted granddaughter Alise.
- In the eleventh film, she is shown to be a caring wife to King Maximillian when they were young and first rule Chamberg.
Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- Despite being a jolly and loving mother, she's still prone to being a temperamental and wrathful queen, as well as having anger outbursts and constant quarrels with Rogers, such as their conflicted views towards how to coach Alise in The Swan Princess: Princess Tomorrow, Pirate Today.
- Her actions and supporting traits are comparably bog-standard, causing her to heavily fail the admirable standards to Derek and Odette.
- This is not helped by the fact in The Swan Princess II: Escape from Castle Mountain where she infamously has the damsel-in-distress role and spends most of the second film being imprisoned by Clavius until the climax at the end of that film.
