~ Chloé's catchphrase |
Chloé Bourgeois, also known as Queen Bee, is a fallen anti-heroine and a major character in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. She is the egotistical and narcissistic daughter of André Bourgeois, the mayor of Paris, and Audrey Bourgeois, as well as the half-sister of Zoé Lee.
She's voiced in English by Selah Victor.
Her Good Ranking[]
Her Heroic Deeds[]
- She helped Ladybug defeat Despair Bear.
- She sacrificed herself to fend off the zombified Cat Noir in "Zombizou" to bide time for Ladybug, allowing her to defeat the titular villain
- She helped Ladybug defeat Malediktator, who tried to brainwash all of Paris into being his slaves.
- She helped defeat many of Scarlet Moth's scarlet akumatized villains in the two-part Season 2 finale, Heroes' Day.
- She helped defeat Miraculer, one of the most powerful foes Ladybug and Cat Noir have faced.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- She fails the high admirable standards of her work, even barring Ladybug, Cat Noir, Bunnyx and the kwamis who have more resources than her, she still fails the admirable standards to Alya Cesaire/Rena Rouge, Ladybug's most trusted ally aside from Cat Noir who kept her identity as Marinette a secret as well as helped defeat many villains and tricked Shadow Moth in Sentibubbler and Luka Couffaine/Viperion, who, despite failing the admirable standards himself, saved the world from Shadow Noir in Ephemeral, all who have similar resources to Chloé.
- In the final episode of Season 3 Miracle Queen, she betrays Ladybug and sides with Hawk Moth, stealing all of the Miraculous and willingly gets akumatized into the titular villain. She uses her powers to brainwash everyone in Paris and reveal all of the identities of the superheroes in Paris save for Ladybug and Cat Noir. After this, she sheds all of the redeeming traits in Season 4 and becomes an even worse bully and villain.
- Her subsequent actions caused Miraculous Ladybug's most forgiving and understanding characters such as Marinette, Adrien, and Caline to give up hope on her and trying to make her a better person.
- Even as a superhero and during Season 3 before the events of the same season's finale, she still acted rude and arrogant towards people to the point that Aurore Beauréal was akumatized into Stormy Weather, who almost caused the world to sink in an eternal winter and will almost kill everyone.
- Even after Ladybug and Cat Noir defeat Stormy Weather, Chloe is never seen apologizing to Aurore.
- She was a massive bully in the earlier seasons, particularly towards Marinette, and never grows out of this behavior, as mentioned above.
Trivia[]
- She used to be Inconsistently Admirable but was removed and approved to Heroic Benchmark due to failing the admirable standard to Alya/Rena Rouge and Luka/Viperion. She also used to be Near Pure Evil but was removed and approved to Villainous Benchmark due to failing the heinous standard.
- In addition to this, she is the only Miraculous Ladybug character to be both a Heroic and Villainous Benchmark character, making her the only Miraculous Ladybug character to be both a hero and a villain.
