Dr. Prof. Lisa Marie Simpson is the main protagonist of "Ei8ht", the second segment from The Simpsons episode "Treehouse of Horror XXXIV".

She is from an alternate timeline where Sideshow Bob succeeds in killing Bart Simpson right in front of her, which gives her a split personality, one of which is her being a renowned criminal psychologist who must track down a serial killer, who turns out to be her alternate persona.

Like her main timeline counterpart, she was voiced by Yeardley Smith.

She cared for her brother Bart and always wanted to get revenge on his killer.
She is a world renowned criminal psychologist who for several decades has stopped multiple criminals, one being the East Side Strangler.
She wrote a book on how she overcame childhood trauma and inspired a group of college students.
She worked with Officer Nelson to try to track down a gruesome serial killer.
She interacted with her brother's killer to get information to track down the serial killer.

Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]

Her stopping multiple criminals is offscreen heroism and fridge brilliance as it is only stated that she had done so, with no more details given other than stopping one serial killer.
She has severe moral agency issues due to her developing a split personality with a serial killer that came from the trauma of watching her brother die. It is even strongly implied by the end that the evil personality is the true one in control and merely uses this personality as a Hero by Proxy to maintain a good image and get away with murders.
