Obera is a former antagonist and later supporting protagonist in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
Her Good Zone[]
In General[]
- Despite being made of an Elemental of Light, she has an clear moral agency despite being made of Good.
- While she was an Villain who aided Feldway and Michael, she redeems herself after doubting their plan to destroy the Central World to revive Veldanava believing Milim Nava should be his successor instead where she defected to him.
- Even while as an Villain she still treated her forces well and genuinely cares for them when they were killed by Velzard, upsetted and feeling remorse for their deaths prove it.
- While she do hate insects she isn't Xenophobic since she hates them in general when she had Zalario deal with the Incectors.
Her Heroic Deeds[]
- She would have an role in protecting the Central World inhabitants from harm including her supporting role of aiding Feldway and other Seven Angels of Origin against Ivaragé rampaging in it and sealing her away while helping watching her seal and deal with the Cryphds and Insectors running rampant to prevent them from reaching the main the Central World.
- She would defect from the Army of Justice and join Milim Nava’s Big Four where she would redeem herself in stopping her former comrades and attempting to stop Velzard with them only to get frozen in the process.
Why She Doesn't Stand Out[]
- While she easily passes the general baseline for her role in defending the Central World in the past and redeeming herself by deflecting from the Army Justice to serve Milim Nava as part her Big Four and do heroic acts part of it to oppose them. Nearly all of her acts of heroism are done as an group part of the Seven Angels of Origin and Big Four which makes her most admirable acts shared with others, making her massively fails the admirable standards to several other characters with similar or lower resources than her as an result.
- This makes her fail the admirable standards to Feldway (An Non-Hero IA) and Milim Nava as she did most her heroism under their orders in both groups.
- While she did redeem herself, she still did heinous crimes of aiding Feldway and Michael in attempted omnicide and shown to be lethal at times plus she didn’t feel remorse for all of crimes which isn’t enough to nullify them so she can't be Pure Good or Near Pure Good because of it.
- Plus even if she did do enough to nullify her acts to have few enough preventions to qualify as an Near Pure Good, she still fails the admirable standards too hard to be an Minor Insufficient Near Pure Good due to her most admirable acts under orders and/or shared with others stated above even then.
Trivia[]
- While she may be Heroic Benchmark now she may end up doing more solo heroic stuff in future Light Novel appearances to standout to be Inconsistently Admirable or Near Pure Good if she makes up enough though unlikely Pure Good due to her shown to be lethal at times however.
