Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk'itan, or Neteyam, is a major character in the Avatar franchise, serving as one of the main characters in Avatar: The Way of Water.
He is the 15-year-old eldest son of Jake Sully and Neytiri, who is also the older brother of Lo'ak, Tuktirey, and Kiri.
He is portrayed by Jamie Flatters. While he was young, he was portrayed by Jeremy Irwin and Oliver Moore as a baby.
His Good Ranking[]
His Heroic Deeds[]
- He helps fight against the RDA at the start of the movie along with his brother Lo'ak which almost gets him killed.
- He still wants to help his dad fight against the RDA after almost getting killed, which his dad dismisses.
- He defends Kiri when she is getting harassed by Ao’nung and his friends and warns him to stay away from her.
- He usually takes the blame for Lo'ak's actions since his dad is usually a bit harsh on him.
- He forces Ao'nung to admit what he did to Lo'ak when he took him outside the reef.
- He saved Lo'ak, Tsireya and Tuk When they were tied up.
- Though slightly reluctant to at first, him and Lo'ak went to save Spider when he was in trouble.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out[]
- While he definitely has far more limited screentime than his father Jake and his Mother, he still badly fails the admirable standards to his brother Lo’ak. While Lo’ak was a top character, he still didn’t really have any more screentime than Neteyam, at least for the single movie he was in.
- He has a slightly jerkish moment, showcasing him and Rotxo laughing at Lo'ak because of his attraction to Tsireya.
