Mechagodzilla (メカゴジラ, Mekagojira) is a mechanical robotic version of Godzilla created by G-Force that made its debut in a Heisei Godzilla film Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla II. It was created to protect Japan from monster threats, especially from its original counterpart Godzilla. Upon fusing with the Garuda, the anti-Godzilla machine, it would become Super Mechagodzilla (スーパーメカゴジラ Sūpā Mekagojira).

It was portrayed by Wataru Fukuda, who also portrayed its successor Moguera in the same series.

Its Good Ranking[]

Its Heroic Deeds[]

  • It was dispatched to stop Godzilla from attacking Kyoto.
  • After being repaired by G-Force, it was sent to save Baby Godzilla and Azusa Gojo from Fire Rodan when they were held within the canister.
  • It defeated Fire Rodan, then nearly killed Godzilla by destroying his second brain using its G-Crusher.

Why It Doesn't Stand Out[]

  • It fails the admirable standard due to being controlled by its pilots, meaning it has no control of its action.
  • Due to just being a superweapon created by the military, it lacks any characterization whatsoever, making it a hero-by-proxy by technically.
