Maisie Lockwood is the tritagonist of the Jurassic World trilogy. She is the cloned daughter of Charlotte Lockwood who created her in hopes of having a child of her own by using the same technology that creates dinosaurs with the help of her father Sir Benjamin Lockwood, John Hammond's former partner. After Charlotte died from genetic disease, Maisie was raised by Benjamin Lockwood as her grandfather and Iris Carroll as her caretaker at Lockwood Manor, protecting her from being recognized as a clone.
Maisie is then adopted by Claire Dearing and Owen Grady as her parents who later know the truth that she's the clone of Charlotte Lockwood, including herself after the death of Benjamin Lockwood.
She was portrayed by newcomer Isabella Sermon.

- She attempted to alert Lockwood about Mills' betrayal.
- She helped save the dinosaurs to give them better health.
- She decided to stay with Owen and Claire after she refused to go back to Mills as her abusive guardian.
- She may have developed a fear of Velociraptors, even the Indoraptor, but she showed no hatred towards the raptors, especially Blue and her child, Beta.
- When the Indoraptor attacks the group in the library, Maisie got out of the exhibit and screamed louder to get its attention while running through the great hall to save herself, luring the hybrid away from Claire and Owen so they can be safe.
- Despite picking up jerkish traits due to puberty, living in isolation, and the stress and weight of her actions, she never lost her compassion and empathy towards Dinosaurs.
- She helped the construction crew to get the two Apatosauruses out of their construction site.
- She helped Henry Wu to redeem himself by helping him come to terms with her history, allowing him to betray Lewis Dodgson and use the gene therapy discovered by Charlotte Lockwood to foil Biosyn's plans to cut off half the world's food supply through genetically enhanced locusts.
- She accompanied Alan and Owen to rescue Beta by calming her down like the way Owen did to the raptors, allowing Owen to tranquilize the baby.
Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- Her most admirable act was a complete accident, as she didn't know that she would be responsible for the 2018 Dinosaur Outbreak, because she only released the dinosaurs knowing that she couldn't let them all die, even if it did lead to Rexy eating Eli Mills and destroying the I. rex bone, preventing the creation of newer and dangerous hybrids. That being said, her actions lead to dozens of deaths in the next film although she did care about them, and she didn't know the dinosaurs would kill Mills either, making her fail the admirable standards.
- Though in the YA Dominion prequel novels, it's revealed that she eventually did come know the price and consequences of her decision to release the dinosaurs.
- As a teenager, she became more of a jerkette due to a combination of the weight and regrets of her actions, living in isolation, and going through puberty, flipping off Henry Wu and acting rude towards Owen Grady and Claire Dearing.
Trivia[]
- Originally, she was approved as Pure Good, due to being selfless and willing to free the dinosaurs in Fallen Kingdom, but she was removed after it was found out she had became a jerkette, while her "good deed" was completely accidental and served no purpose other than to kill Eli Mills and set up the plot for Dominion, in which even more people were killed. She had a short arc where she realized she and the dinosaurs were not too different, but it ended up doing way more harm than good even though things eventually did pay off. She was then approved as a Heroic Benchmark.
