Luigi is a supporting character in the Cars franchise. He runs the local tire shop at Radiator Springs with his assistant Guido.
He is voiced by Tony Shalhoub. In the Japanese dub from the movie, he is voiced by Girolamo Panzetta.

- As soon as he saw Lightning McQueen was making a great new road. He offered to give him four new tires alongside Guido.
- Him and Guido gave Lightning McQueen new tires, but instead whitewalls, since blackwall tires blend in with the pavement.
- Helped Lightning McQueen win the piston cup and told Guido he would have his chance to show the pit crew of Chick Hicks that he was the better pit crew.
- Cheered for Lightning McQueen when he gave up the piston cup to rescue The King from when Chick Hicks nearly crash killed him.
- When Radiator Springs came back to its glory days, he and Guido began selling tires to customers again who needed them.
Cars 2[]
- Went across the world to aid Lightning McQueen on participating in the World Grand Prix.
- Helped Lightning McQueen with participating in the races across the world, and even took a visit to the village in Porta Corsa Italy where him, and Guido grew up.
- Aided in stopping the Lemon cars from watching Mater blow up to kill Lightning McQueen.
Cars 3[]
- Along with Guido headed with Lightning McQueen in Mack to go to the Rusteze Racing Center so he can train after experiencing a deadly crash that almost killed him losing to Jackson Storm.
- Stayed loyal to Lightning McQueen the whole trip, even when Lightning lashed out at Cruz blaming her for the reason why he's not getting any faster than Jackson Storm.
- Him, and Guido helped with Smokey training Lightning McQueen to win against Jackson Storm.
- Helped Cruz Ramirez win the race when Lightning McQueen decided to give her the shot she always wanted to race as her dream with Guido.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- While him helping Lightning McQueen defeat the lemons and assisting with trying to remove the bomb on Mater's air filter are enough to make him pass the baseline, and although it's unfair to compare him to Finn McMissile, and Holley Shiftwell due to them having more resources than him, he still fails the admirable standard to Mater who helped rescue many automobiles from Sir Miles Axelrod's plan to wipe out all the cars that made fun of his kind as lemons, and even McQueen who gave up his chance at winning the Piston Cup and pushed the damaged King over the finish line, encouraged Mater to be himself and saved the day, and stopped the war between the female and male Road Rumblers and redeemed them which saved the desert from being turned into a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
- He's known to have some stubborn, and mild arrogant moments throughout the series, such as calling Lizzie a devil woman for saying his place looks like a dump.
