Lamar Davis is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Lester Crest) of Rockstar Games' action crime game Grand Theft Auto V, and one of the two tritagonists (alongside Agent 14) of Grand Theft Auto: Online.
He was the member of The Families in Los Santos, as well as the best friend of Franklin Clinton, who often assisted him in his jobs and missions.
He is voiced by Gerald "Slink" Johnson.

- He played a large role in assisting the player in GTA Online in their missions.
- He was overall a good friend to Franklin, who had helped and saved him countless times during the events of the game. He was also loyal to other friends who respected him and was ready to help them when needed.
- Opposed to his best friend Franklin, he was really humorous and easier to get along with.
- He protected Simeon from being insulted by Jimmy, and also scolded Jimmy for his racist behavior.
- Despite Trevor's craziness, he still befriended him and did not act hostile towards him.
- He took down couple of the Ballas gang members to weaken them.
- After his friend Franklin saved him from being kidnapped by the Ballas and betrayed by Stretch, him and Franklin planned to take him down once and for all.
- If Ending C is chosen, he helped the protagonists to take down the corrupted organizations, such as FIB or Merryweather, as the request of Franklin.
- He helped the protagonists to eliminate the main threats of the game, who are Stretch, Wei Cheng, Steve Haines and Devin Weston.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- He failed the admirable standard to the main protagonists: Franklin, Michael, Lester and even Trevor, all of them have done far more admirable acts than him. Additionally, most of his admirable deeds were shared with them, especially to Franklin.
- He was an on and off anti-hero who has done a lot of crimes in his life, including drug dealing, killing, grand theft auto, or gang fighting.
- He had some occasional jerkish moments towards Franklin, often mocked the latter's crush.
