Karen Plankton is secondary antagonist/anti-heroic character in the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise. She is Sheldon's wife who often helps him with his schemes.
She is voiced by Jill Talley.

- In "Friend or Foe", she tells the true story of how Mr. Krabs and Plankton become enemies.
- In "Frozen Face-Off", she helps SpongeBob and the others stop Plankton from stealing the secret formula.
- In "Plankton's Regular", she paid Nat to eat in the "Chum Bucket" to make Plankton happier.
- In "Single Cell Anniversary", she obtains the Kraby Patty secret formula as an anniversary gift for Sheldon but refuses to give it to him until he gives her gift from the hearth.
- In "Chum Bucket Supreme", she gives her husband an idea for a way to legally achieve success and profit.
- In "Plankton's Pet", after Sheldon fails yet again, she gives him an idea to adopt a pet.
- In "Tango Tangle" she appreciates Plankton paying for tango lessons.
- In "Salsa Imbecilicus", she teams up with Sandy to make Bikini Bottomies smart again.

Why She Dosen't Stand Out?[]
- She is very bog-standard as many of her good deeds boil down to helping Plankton in non-criminal activities and making him happier. Causing her to fail the average admirable standards to SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy.
- She is On & Off because she is often an antagonist.
- Although she cares about Plankton, she sometimes treats him badly, although there are situations where he deserves it, but there are also moments when she insults him without justifications.
- In "One Coarse Meal", she doesn't believe that the whale is chasing Plankton and yells at him for it, although she saw how terrified he was. She even sarcastically mocks him for his fear of whales even though she knows serval of his relatives have been eaten by whales.
- In "Plankton's Good Eye" she insists that he not stay good.
