Kabuto Yakushi is a major antagonist turned minor protagonist in the Naruto. He was Orochimaru's right-hand man and played a major role under the Akatsuki army in Fourth Shinobi World War. He later redeems himself and runs an orphanage and serves the Hidden Leaf Village as a medical ninja.

His Heroic Deeds[]
- Even before his redemption he had few heroic deeds
- He ran an orphanage and worked for Danzo to prevent his orphanage from shutting down.
- He healed Hinata after she was seriously wounded from her fight with Neji.
- As part of the medical core in the hidden sound village, he healed several people.
- After he was defeated by Itachi and Sasuke by being trapped in Itachi's Izanami, he redeems himself by overcoming his insecurities, undoing his Edo Tensei and switching sides of the Fourth Shinobi World War.
- He healed Sasuke from mortal wound by Madara. Sasuke was then able to continue to fighting in the war. Sasuke also played big role in Kaguya's defeat. This makes him indirectly responsible for Kaguya's defeat and ending the war.
- After the end of the war, he runs an orphanage.
- He adopts the Shin Uchiha's clones, preparing them for future threats.
- He also serves as medical ninja of the hidden leaf village after the war. As such he has continued healing people.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out[]
- Though he passes the general baseline, to say he fails the high admirable standards of the series is an understatement.
- His act of undoing the Edo Tensei is undoing the act he caused.
- He fails the admirable standards Naruto, Sasuke, Kakashi, Sakura, Gaara, and more. They had a more active role in Fourth Shinobi World War and had many more heroic deeds on top of that.
- Resources since he is one of the most powerful characters in the series.
- Although he has remorse for his past actions, the hidden village still put him on some restraints. This suggests he isn't completely for his long rapsheet of heinous acts.
