Jim Halpert is a character in the American adaptation of The Office. He is a salesman at Dunder Mifflin who works for Michael Scott. He is generally kind and friendly but has a mischievous streak which often causes him to prank Dwight Schrute with whom he shares a rivalry. Later in the series, he marries long term love interest Pam Beesly and they are generally very happy together.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]

  • Though Dwight is not innocent in their relationship, Jim's pranks can be excessive and make him kind of a jerk at times.
  • His actions are mostly bog standard niceness.
  • He kissed Pam when he knew she was engaged to Roy.
  • Allowed Michael to fall into the koi pond.
  • He and Dwight made up a fictional salesman called Lloyd Grossman to defraud Dunder Mifflin out of money which shows he's not above breaking the law.
