Jet the Hawk is a supporting character in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. He is one of Sonic's rivals and shares a strong rivalry with Sonic, and also Shadow, and will constantly talk down to Sonic, only to lose in defeat.
He is voiced by Daisuke Kishio in the Japanese version, and by Jason Griffth (2006-2010) and Michael Yurchak (2010-present) in the English version.

His Heroic Deeds[]
- He genuinely cares for his friends Wave and Storm, despite arguing with them sometimes.
- He also admires his father, as he wants to be a professional Babylon Rogue like his dad was.
- He teams up with Sonic and co. to defeat other villains like the Babylon Guardian and Dr. Eggman.
- He has standards as he is opposed to cheating, this is proved that he wanted a rematch race because Wave sabotaged Team Heroes Extreme Gear.
- He does sometimes respect his rivals. When Team Dark defeats them in the race, he admits that Shadow and Rouge where good. He also respects Sonic as now they are much friendlier to each other, even though Jet still wants to beat Sonic.
- He helps Sonic and his friends stop Master Core: ABIS in the end of Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity.
- He helps Sonic and his friends defeat Dr. Eggman and Metal Sonic in the end of Sonic Free Riders.
- He helps Sonic, Tails, Yoshi, Shadow, and Silver find the fog machine in the 3DS version of Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
- He frees Sonic when he was captured in the 3DS version of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
- He helps Sonic and his friends during the Metal Virus saga.
- Despite his rivalry with Sonic, he is willing to put his difference aside in defeating other villains or being in the Olympic Games.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- He fails the high admirable standards of the franchise.
- He is on and off, as he sometimes does good deeds to help Sonic and his friends, but most of the time, does questionable deeds for selfish desires, usually evolving around treasure.
- He is very arrogant and jerkish to others about his abilities.
- He teams up with Eggman because Eggman revealed that Jet has the key to Babylon Garden. Although he didn't trust Eggman, Eggman revealed that by collecting the Emeralds, it would reveal the legendary Babylon Garden. This is what convinces Jet to team up with Eggman.
- In Sonic Free Riders, he taunted Team Rose for their poor skills, while also saying that "They are a bunch of amateurs.”
- At the finals, he mocked Sonic a final time before the race. After the race he mocked Sonic and claimed the Chaos Emerald.
