Izis is the former main antagonist turned protagonist in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEKAI Memories.
She was voiced by Rie Takahashi.
Her Good Zone[]
Her Heroic Deeds[]
- Although pragmatic, she would team up with Rimuru Tempest when Mokshan betrayed her and attempted to override the Central World with Mirror World since she didn't want the real world to be replaced with a fake.
- While initially she only teamed up with Rimuru Tempest and Shinsha against her creator Cliché for pragmatic reasons, she later shed that reason out of it for genuine care later on when she gained genuine care and a proper redemption while showing some remorse for her previous actions.
- She would use some of her previous crested Mirror Copies to assist Rimuru's forces in dealing with Cliché's forces.
- She would manage to transfer some of Veldora Against’s magicules to Shinsha so it can allow her to evolve into a Serpent Slime to fight against Cliché.
- She was care not to cause any cave ins in Clichés underground lair as it would cause many nations to collapse from the cave ins as she would battle with Cliché’s forces.
- Recreated her copies to help the Jura-Tempest Federation against Cliché's forces.
- Helped Benimaru, Souei and Souka against Frey Aur by providing them swords with spiritual attack properties.
- Supported Shinsha against Cliché as she would support Rimuru Tempest on dealing with her when Cliché rejected her chance of redemption by Shinsha.
- She alongside Rimuru Tempest would manage heal Shinsha when she was gravely injured by Cliché.
Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- While she passes the game's baseline for her major supporting role in stopping Cliché with her contribution against her forces and attack on her hideout, and can't be compared to Rimuru Tempest due to him having more resources than her, she slightly fails the in story standards to Shinsha who had more direct role in dealing with Cliché's forces with less resources with Izis now having a higher individual capability than she did as a villain being able to create almost anything she previously recreated. She also slightly fails to some of Rimuru Tempest's subordinates such as Shion, Diablo and Benimaru who had more roles due to the game's story based on the Anime.
- Her crimes as a Inconsistently Heinous Villain is too corrupting for PG or NPG given she only shown some remorse for her actions but not all of them while yet having to make up for them due to the lower heinous standards of the mobile game compared to the main series as her kill count of 10,000 people, her willingness to sacrifice the mirror copies and attempted to sacrifice Shinsha as a vessel of Veldora Against give her a few M.E.Hs because of it.
- She is a Anti-Hero due to only helping out for the sake of Rimuru Tempest and Shinsha plus those they care about while not entirely selfish she did not fully do it for the faint of heart due to Cliché being a common threat and for sake for those she care of.
- She has moral agency issues due to her inability to show empathy and not understanding concepts of emotions. However given she slowly gain the ability to slowly develop them makes it minor preventing slow.
- While she did subvert most of her corrupting factors she still display some of her old personality such as minor jerkish and arrogant traits.
Trivia[]
- While she may be an Heroic Benchmark as more stories are released in the mobile game, she could qualify as Inconsistently Admirable if she do enough admirable acts to stand out.
