Heroic Benchmark Wiki

Harumi, also known as the Jade Princess, the Quiet One and later the Kabuki Mask, is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Pythor P. Chumsworth) of LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu.

She is the founder and original leader of the Sons of Garmadon, and later the second-in-command of the Crystal Army, who is the former Princess of the Royal Family of Ninjago and Lloyd's love interest. She wanted to resurrect Lloyd's father, Garmadon, in his evil form without any of his positive characteristics because she believes he is the ruler Ninjago deserves and wants revenge for the death of her parents during the Great Devourer's rampage. In the penultimate episode of the season, "Dragon Form", Harumi ends up redeeming herself after learning that it was the Overlord is the one who corrupted the Great Devourer, which was the same creature that took her parents from her.

She is voiced by Britt McKillip.

Her Good Ranking[]

Her Heroic Deeds[]

  • Despite abusing him, Harumi genuinely cares about Lloyd as she is very reluctant when The Overlord orders her and the other Council of The Crystal King to kill him and tries to make him to join her side in order to be saved and reconciled with him in the series finale, even asking him if he was okay after the final fight.
    • She was visibly remorseful for her actions when she watched Garmadon getting killed (although he faked his death) and when Lloyd fell to his death.
  • She ran to where she heard it and she saw a family being separated by a lift, similar to what had happened to herself, during the attack of the Great Devourer. She remembered that day and decided to rescue the family, not wanting the child's parents to die, or the child ending up like her. She quickly guided them out but is trapped in the building herself. She tells the family to go and that she will find another way out.
  • She wouldn't want the Overlord to destroy Ninjago, and only went along with his plans when he claimed he was bringing balance.
  • She told Lloyd to use a vine and tie it to a tree in order to save themselves.
  • She ultimately ends up redeeming herself in the series finale, where, after the Overlord reveals that he was the sole cause of Garmadon turning evil and corrupting the Devourer, therefore making him indirectly responsible for the deaths of her biological parents, realizing her mistake in blaming the Ninja for the death of her parents, she turns against him and allies with the Ninja. In the aftermath, she is among many the many people who are helping them rebuild the monastery, and it is implied she reconciled with Lloyd.
    • When she turned against The Overlord she managed to succesfully attack him, this saved Lloyd and Garmadon from being killed by him, which played an important part in defeating him.

Why She Doesn't Stand Out?[]

  • While saving a family from being killed by The Collosus, redeeming herself to stop The Overlord and saving Lloyd and Garmadon from The Overlord is enough to pass the baseline, she fails the admirable standards next to the Ninja, Garmadon, Ronin and even Dareth, who all have done much more to stop The Overlord.
  • She spent most of the series as a villain who killed her own adoptive parents, ressurected Lord Garmadon who took over Ninjago City, assisted The Overlord in his plan of corrupting the sixteen realms and many other atrocities, to the point where she passes the heinous standards of the series and is Inconsistently Heinous. While she does redeem herself and expressed remorse for her atrocities, she only redeemed herself in the very end of the series and did not spend enough time as a hero afterwards, making her too corruptibile for NPG, let alone PG.
