NOTE: This article is only about Greg the Dog's film counterpart, as his original book counterpart has his own page. |
Gregory Knight, better known as Greg the Dog, is one of the two overarching protagonists (alongside his owner Officer Knight) of DreamWorks' 48th full-length animated feature film, Dog Man, based off of Dav Pilkey's book series of the same name.
His Good Ranking[]
His Heroic Deeds[]
- He genuinely cared for Officer Knight, his girlfriend Alice, and his boss, Chief.
- He prevented any real damage caused by his owner's reckless driving.
- When Officer Knight nearly fell off of the abandoned warehouse, he saved him.
- He attempted to defuse the bomb Petey put on top of the warehouse.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- He falls under Fridge Brilliance as its unknown how many lives besides him and Officer Knight the bomb was threatening. Therefore, he fails the admirable standard to Li'l Petey, 80-HD, Chief, Sarah Hatoff, Seamus, and even Petey himself, who all helped severely in the defeat of Flippy.
- While it could be argued that he is the same as the titular character, which would therefore mean he would pass the admirable standard, he only did all of the admirable deeds Dog Man did after being turned into Dog Man, and since Dog Man and Greg the Dog are listed as separate characters, they shall be treated as such here.
