Majin Buu, also known as Good Buu, who is distinct from his evil counterparts known as Kid Buu and Super Buu. He was a villain turned ally of the main protagonists.

His Good Ranking[]

His Heroic Deeds[]

  • Even before his redemption, he has shown to have a caring side.
  • He cured a kid of his blindness.
  • He stopped killing people after Mr. Satan convinced him that killing people is bad.
  • He developed a friendship with Mr. Satan and Bee.
  • He kept healing Mr. Satan and Bee after they were shot by Van Zant.
  • His influence prevented Super Buu from attacking Mr. Satan.
  • He fought Kid Buu to hold him off to buy time for Vegeta to grant his wish and Goku to gain enough energy to defeat Kid Buu. This makes him play a hand in defeating Kid Buu, saving the universe.
  • He helped fight against Moro.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out[]

  • Though it isn't fair to compare him to Goku and Vegeta as they are now, but back during the Buu Saga they had similar resources and have done more than him. It doesn't help his most heroic act of helping defeat Kid Buu was shared with them, making him fail the admirable standards of the series. Resources don't help him as Gohan, Goten and Trunks are kids (at least when they did their most admirable acts), Mr. Satan is a normal human being, and Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo are aliens, while Buu is an cosmic being with similar powers.
  • Even after his redemption, he has several jerk moments and is still immature.
    • He inconsiderately taunted the Z-Fighters after they were revived by Porunga.
    • He refused to share pudding with Beerus, which put Earth at risk of being destroyed.
