~ Envy, complaining about her height, introducing herself, and praising Disgust's hair |
Envy is one of the secondary antagonists (alongside Ennui) of Inside Out 2. She is the second emotion to appear since Riley Anderson's toddler years, by the time she becomes a teenager and is preceded by Anxiety and then followed by Ennui and Embarrassment.
Her Good Ranking[]
Her Heroic Deeds[]
- While she went along with Anxiety's plans, she only wanted to help Riley.
- When Anxiety started to cause Riley a panic attack, she realized they went too far and tried to stop her.
- She hugged Riley’s new sense of self to help her recover.
- She made peace with the other emotions.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- She fails the admirable standard since her most admirable acts, trying to stop Anxiety and helping to console Riley, are outclassed by the other characters’ acts (like Bing Bong sacrificing his life to help Joy) or shared with the other emotions respectively.
- She acted antagonistically for most of the movie, helping Anxiety to negatively influence Riley and even convincing her to break into Coach Roberts’ office, since Anxiety was initially hesitant in doing it.
