Dave is one of the Minions. He is a major Minion and the main protagonist of Minion Rush.
Dave is voiced by Chris Renaud, later by Pierre Coffin.

- He is one of the more mature Minions.
- He was the Minion who led the other Minions to England.
- He is extremely loyal to his boss, Gru. Other than that, he is extremely kind to the other Minions.
- He can be intelligent and strategic. A notable example is in Midnight Mission, where he is a rocket scientist.
- He came to rescue Gru and Lucy from the mall to prevent them from being seen by El Macho.
- He disguised as a Purple Minion to blend in with the others and pretend to arrest Gru.
- He chose to stay with Gru when the other Minions quit.
- He became a Mega Minion to stop Maxime Le Mal.
- He ultimately chooses to stay good, despite already being a good Minion.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- He fails the high standards of the Despicable Me franchise.
- He, despite being excited, blew a rocket launcher at some Minions.
- He is very accident-prone and incompetent, as he accidentally exposed himself to the Purple Minions.
- He accidentally threw the crowbar at the wrong direction, knocking out the guy with the glasses.
