Dagon is an overarching, minor protagonist in the MonsterVerse.

His Good Zone[]

His Heroic Deeds[]

  • He would protect the people of Japan from MUTO Prime to fight her off and even though he lost he still kept her from harming them.
  • Unlike Godzilla, he was shown to have no corrupting qualities.

Why He Doesn't Stand Out[]

  • While protecting a large amount of people from MUTO Prime prevents him from being a "stop the villain" hero allowing him to pass the general baseline, he relies on too much fridge-brilliance to go any further rank as it not shown if he has other admirable acts to standout and comparisons don't matter in this case since he fails the admirable standards of the MonsterVerse too hard for a Minor Insufficient Near Pure Good where he fails to nearly every other character out here.
    • This is due to the fact he is dead by the events of Godzilla (2014) meaning he is unable to do more heroic acts outside of flashbacks.
  • Due to him having almost no characterization as only thing shown protect a group of people from MUTO Prime in a brief flashback though word of god did confirm he is more friendly and co-exist than Godzilla, it still wouldn't give him enough characterization to be a Minor Characterized Near Pure Good.

Trivia[]

  • If Dagon reappearances in future media in a form of flashback and shown to do more heroic acts it could make him Inconsistently Admirable, Near Pure Good or Pure Good depending on other corruptions played.
