Count Dooku is a major character in Star Wars franchise. being the secondary antagonist of the prequel trilogy and the main antagonist of the animated spin-off Star Wars the Clone Wars. He was a former Jedi who falls to the dark side and becomes the apprentice of Darth Sidious after the death of his apprentice Qui-Gon Jinn. Under Instructions from Sidious he orchestrated the clone wars and founded the separatist movement but the thing is Dooku presumably redeemed himself and wanted to tell Anakin that Palpatine is the Sith Lord but Anakin didn't have time to hear it thanks to being manipulated which ultimately led to his archenemy Anakin Skywalker killing him after being manipulated by Palpatine.

- He protects his brother Ramil and his sister Jenza when some criminals tried to steal from them.
- He insists that the Jedi Council allow him to attend his mother's funeral so he could be there to support Jenza.
- He trains Qui-Gon Jinn as his apprentice and praises his honesty when he admitted to his fears which Qui-Gon had worried would cause Dooku to reject him.
- He saves Qui-Gon from the bounty Hunter Shenda Mol.
- He protects the villagers of Senator Dagonet’s's homeworld when he tried to have them killed for kidnapping his son. The villagers only did it because of Dagonet's neglectful rule that resulted in allowing his people to suffer.
- When the Republic and the Jedi Council refused to aid his homeworld when it was invaded by pirates. This was the last straw for Dooku and he took it back all by himself which only took 2 weeks showing he cared about his people.
- He believes the Jedi should do more to honor Master Katri and investigate her death as opposed to Mace Windu who insisted on blindly following the Jedi's instructions.
- He sympathized with Semage's frustrations over the corruption of the Republic and encouraged him to make sure his people continued to evolve and did not lose hope.
- He had been warning the Council about the coming darkness for years, but they ignored his concerns. When his former apprentice said he encountered a Sith Lord, Dooku turned out to be right.
- He is a well-intentioned extremist as Darth Tyranus, believing that the Republic and the Jedi have become corrupt, and a Sith Empire will be better for the galaxy. He rightly believed that the Jedi blindly serve the corrupt Galactic Senate while letting people suffer at the hands of their corrupted elected officials. The point is so compelling Yaddle can find no counter argument.
- He spares Anakin and Obi-Wan after they helped him escape Florrum.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- He fails the high admirable standards to Anakin Skywalker and Mace Windu who did far more for the galaxy with similar resources with Mace liberating multiple planets during the Clone Wars and Anakin ultimately saving the galaxy from the Sith by killing Palpatine. Although this is a minor prevention as Dooku's heroism is before the Clone Wars.
- He was an anti-hero and extremist as he used questionable methods such as force choking Dagonet or using force lightning against Shenda, before subverting such traits with his evil acts.
- He also consistently displayed arrogance even before his fall, which was a trait he willingly picked up unlike Anakin who was manipulated into it.
- He is xenophobic as he hated some species and told Qui-Gon not to help them. Unlike Anakin, who had a bad history with the species he hated like the Tusken Raiders, Dooku hated certain species purely due to his arrogance.
- He was disillusioned and corrupted into becoming a Sith Lord and passes the heinous standards by causing countless deaths, betraying some of his own allies and even having his own brother and sister murdered. In fact, he falls so much that soon he loses a lot of his redeeming qualities and sympathy, and he never redeemed himself after that.
