Commander Cody is a major character in the Star Wars franchise. He is commander in the clone army who served Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Clone Wars. As a result of his inhibitor chip, he betrayed the Jedi but later questioned the Empire's values and decided to defect.

- He saves Clone prisoners from being sold to a Trandoshan hunter.
- He helps Rex in deducing that Slick was the clone that had betrayed the Republic.
- He sends Waxer and Boil to rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi after his gunship was shot down.
- He helps defend Tipoca City against Separatists.
- He helps assist in rescuing Jedi Even Piell and Captain Wilhuff Tarkin.
- He goes with Obi-Wan to rescue Ahsoka Tano and Jedi Younglings from Hondo and his gang of pirates.
- Although he easily betrays General Kenobi by ordering the AT-TE tank to shoot him under Darth Sidious's orders, he only does so unwillingly, as he is heavily influenced by his inhibitor chip.
- He talks Governor Ames into surrendering peacefully to the Empire.
- He refuses to shoot Ames after Grotton ordered it, showing he valued honoring his word.
- Eventually, he possibly redeems himself by abandoning the Empire.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- He fails the high admirable standards too much to Rex who did more with similar resources.
