Christopher "Chris" Cross Griffin is one of the deuteragonists of Family Guy. He is the son and middle child of Peter and Lois Griffin.

His Heroic Deeds[]
- He is by far the least corrupt member of the Griffin family and regularly shows kindness and empathy for others.
- He helped the police catch a dangerous criminal.
- In "Brian the Bachelor", when his sentient pimple, Doug, tries to force him to do crimes, he does everything he can to try to stop him and feels extremely remorseful about every crime Doug makes him commit.
- In "Space Cadet", he helped pilot a rocket ship to help get his family back to safety.
- He tells Peter he was lying about having a girlfriend in Canada so Peter wouldn't feel jealous since he was lonely in high school.
Why Doesn't He Stand Out?[]
- Partially due to being one of the less focused-on family member, he fails the admirable standard to several other characters, such as Joe Swanson who has stopped several criminals while being a criminal and Glenn Quagmire who has saved a plane from terrorists.
- While he was genuinely heroic in "Stewie, Chris, & Brian's Excellent Adventure", where he went on the Titanic, this was only because he thought that he was in a dream and his actions didn't matter, making him unaware of any of his good deeds.
- While not villainous like Peter, Stewie, or Brian, he is still on & off with a few villainous roles such as kidnapping Meg and many other events.
- He has a bad temper and tends to lash out frequently.
- He can also be a massive jerk at times with moments such as:
- Bashing in Brian's face so he would have an excuse to go to the vet and then screaming at Brian when he calls him out as a jerk.
- Insulting Joe for being handicapped, calling him a two-wheeled monster.
- Repeatedly abusing Meg, although not as much as Lois and Peter do.
- He is just as stupid as Peter, which gives him Moral Agency Issues that sometimes makes him unaware of the good things he does (though there are times he intentionally does good.)
- He is extremely perverted, even going as far as jerking off in public on several occasions or stalking girls. He has even shown incestual attraction towards his family members, like night-texting Peter when he kissed him as a baby, making out with Meg while playing doctor, and accidentally kissing Stewie then saying he'll remember it.
- Whenever he becomes popular in school, he will usually start to arrogantly abuse his status and let it get to his head, such as when he became prom king, when Connie DiMico started dating him, when girls started to sympathize with him after his sister disappeared and many other instances.
