“ | Near: Mr. Aizawa, the fact you found out about their unique form of communication is recommendable. But it doesn't little to us... unless you have found out about the actual written notes that can be used as a proof. Aizawa: I...I haven't found them yet... Near: Then it means nothing. |

~ Near tells Aizawa that his discovery does little help to the case. |
Insufficiently Admirable Heroic Benchmarks are heroes who fail the admirable standards compared to other heroes. An example would be a hero who saved 10 people, who would fail to standards to heroes who saved the entire country, world, or universe.
This category also extends to several variations:
- Heroes who holds back on their resources too much and fail to make the most of them by acting generic heroism (e.g. May Parker, Okuyasu Nijimura, Sonia Nevermind).
- Heroes whose most admirable deeds rely on Fridge Brilliance or offstage heroism (e.g. King Stefan and Metro Man).
- Heroes whose greatest actions are under the orders of someone else, therefore failing the admirable Standard to order givers (e.g. Erina Pendleton, Mrs. Potts, and Travis).
- Heroes belonging to friendly species that do not stand out from each other (e.g. Iron Golems and Villagers).
They either fail the admirable standards too much, slightly fail the admirable standards, and/or have far too many corrupting qualities to be NPG.
They are the heroic counterpart of Insufficiently Heinous Villainous Benchmarks.
Note: This category is only for heroes who fail the admirable standards of the work that they're in. Do not add characters who pass the in-story standards to this category (e.g. Garfield, Taiga Aisaka, Danny Cat, Angel Gabby (In-Universe) and Casper McFadden (1995 live-action film)).
