His Good Ranking[]
His Heroic Deeds[]
- His anger issues are understandable, as he grew up on a family that never got along and even encouraged him to yell, and he currently has to deal with Mordecai and Rigby’s slacking off and Mr. Maellard blaming him for all their shenanigans.
- He has helped defeat many villains, such as the Destroyer of Worlds, Mr. Ross, Doug Shablowski, Garrett Bobby Ferguson Jr. and Sr, Anti-Pops, Gene, and multiple others.
- With Mordecai's relationship with Margaret, he felt bad for him and wanted to cheer him up after their broke up. Mordecai later accepted it and let Margaret be his best friend instead.
- Was a skilled stick hockey player in the past, as his best friend died, he felt bad and quit stick hockey because of it making it understandable. As he returned to playing stick hockey when Mordecai and Rigby were captured, he saved them by stopping the stick hockey master and beat stick hockey.
- Is an expert drum player as he was able to do epic drum solo on his own despite how hard it is.
- Was able to resist the Scientists' manipulation as he knew they were using the Park Rangers just to study them and not the park. He also was able to learn survival skills which to the point managed to make him stop the scientists thanks to the owl.
- He was able to bring Muscle Man back to the prank war making him responsible for Muscle Man's heroism as Muscle Man stopped Gene from destroying the entire park with pranks and attempting to almost kill his friends.
- He with Mordecai and Rigby defeated Cat Masterson when Benson loved Cat Videos.
- Despite his disapproval of Mordecai and Rigby, he still considerably likes them, as he has invited them to special celebrations, and most notably, in the episode "Stick Hockey," he risked himself to help the two.
- He also admitted the two were cool in "Cool Bikes" after he helped saved them from the cool police.
- In "Think Positive," while he's yelling at Mordecai and Rigby after Pops finally allows him to, he mentions he's trying to teach them responsibility. From that point, he also promised to yell less of the time. He has also admitted in Busted Cart that he does not hate Mordecai and Rigby, just some of the things they do.
- In "Eggscellent," after Benson helps Mordecai train for the omelet challenge, Mordecai tells Benson that even though he acts like a jerk, he's a true friend. he with Skips and Muscle Man and Hi Five Ghost they are fight The Eggscellent Restaurant staff they stay away for Mordecai keep Finish Eating omelet
- In "Expert or Liar," he felt bad for Rigby being humiliated on Expert or Liar and even helped him get back on the show, having been humiliated himself on Say That Word! He even points out that he would never wish that kind of harm on anyone, not even Rigby.
- He formed a bond with Pam in "Pam I Am" and married her after Pops defeated Anti-Pops.
- He helped Pops and the rest of The Park crew in the battle against Anti-Pops.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- In seasons 1-5, he fails the admirable standards (depending on the episode) to Mordecai, Rigby, Skips, and Muscle Man, who saved the park numerous times from various villains and Pops who sacrificed himself to stop his evil brother from destroying the universe, making him bog-standard.
- While his anger is understandable most of the time, it is still too corrupting, as he constantly threatens to fire Mordecai and Rigby for many things, even if they're really minor or aren't even their fault, and is shown to get pretty aggressive at times, to the point of going as far as to kill people.
- In "The Best Burger in the World," he ate Mordecai and Rigby's Ultimeatums and never showed remorse for it, though in all fairness, one can is justified, since Mordecai and Rigby disobeyed him and tried to sneak out of work (also without remorse).
- In "Lunch Break," after Mordecai and Rigby took advantage of his generosity by ordering a huge party sub, he made them eat it all and threatened to fire them if they did not do so. After they honored their end of the deal, he rewarded them by making them run 50 laps on the newly fixed basketball court. Again, though, this isn’t for no reason, since Mordo and Rigs took advantage of his generosity, and they even made him give up a lot of park money, so he was doing to keep his job.
- In “Operation: Hear No Evil,” he attempts to spoiler lazar hunters for Mordecai and Rigby, but this is once again understandable, since the duo do constantly slack off.
