| “ | Everybody stop! Shrek: Artie? Who really thinks we need to settle things this way? You’re telling me you just want to be Villains your whole lives? Captain Hook: But we are Villains. It’s the only thing we know. Didn’t you ever wish you could be something else? Steve: Well, it’s easy for you to say. You’re not some evil enchanted tree. Prince Charming: You morons. Don’t listen to him. ATTACK THEM- Ed: What Steve’s trying to say here is that it’s hard to come by honest work when the whole world’s against you. Steve: 2 Right, thanks Ed. I'm not a talking tree. But, you know, a good friend of mine once told me..., that just because people treat you like a villain..., or an ogre..., or just some loser..., it doesn't mean you are one. The thing that matters most...,is what you think of yourself. If there is something you really want..., or someone you really want to be..., then the only person standing in your way... is you Rumpelstiltskin: Me? OTHER PIRATES: Get 'im lads. No, no, no! What I mean is: Each of you is standing in your own way. Fairytale Villains: Oooooooh. Headless Horseman: (Sniffs) I’ve always wanted to play the flute. Evill Queen: I`d like to open up a spa in France. Captain Hook: I grow daffodils, And they’re beautiful.

| ~ Arthur's speech to the fairy tale villains, causing them to reform. |
Arthur Pendragon, mostly known as "Artie" by Shrek, is the deuteragonist of Shrek the Third. He is Princess Fiona's cousin. These aspects are emphasized when Shrek announces to him that he is the next King of Far Far Away, and Artie begins to panic, believing that he is unsuitable for the job. However, Artie is noble and kind-hearted, and in the end, he courageously accepts the responsibilities of being the new King of Far Far Away.
He is voiced by Justin Timberlake.
His Good Ranking[]
His Heroic Deeds[]
- While he is shown to be somewhat angry towards other students in his school, that's understandable, as they bullied him.
- Plus, he still loves Guinevere.
- He partakes in a fight with Charming's minions.
- He persuades Merlin to send Shrek to Far Far Away.
- He saves Shrek from Prince Charming and persuades fairy tale villains to abandon villainy.
- When Prince Charming is defeated, he decides to take the crown, put it on, and begin his reign as king.
Why He Doesn't Stand Out?[]
- While his act of helping redeem numerous villains passes the general standards, he fails the in-story admirable characters to Shrek, Fiona, Puss and Donkey, who did more to save the kingdom.
