Arthur is a supporting character in the AMC Series Into the Badlands.

He is a Clipper who was sent to the front lines as a Bowler by the Widow, fighting to put an end to Baron Chau's tyrannical rule and the Cog slave trade. Due to seeing many of his allies die and the fact that the Widow does not properly support him and his allies in the war, he eventually turns against her alongside fellow Bowler Wren to attempt a coup of the Butterfly Territory.

He was portrayed by George Sear.

• He serves on the front lines as a Bowler Clipper trying to take down Baron Chau in order to put an end to the Cog slave trade.
• After all of his superiors in his Clipper platoon are killed in Sniper Ally, Arthur takes over and leads the other Clippers despite his inexperience.
• While their coup is extreme and leads them to become villainous characters, he and Wren's coup of the Widow's territory is for the sake of ending the war, meaning they are fighting for a just cause.

Why Doesn't He Stand Out?

• He doesn't meet the admirable standards of characters such as Gaius Chau who fought to improve the Badlands without resorting to extremism.
• After Sunny takes the Sniper as a prisoner of war and requests that he not be harmed, Arthur kills him anyways.
• He and Wren attempt a coup of the Widow's territory and kill multiple Clippers who remain loyal to her. Arthur even taunts the Widow over the fact that those who follow her are being killed due to her refusal to surrender the territory over to them.
