Apple Bloom is a supporting character in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She is a young pony who wants to get her Cutie Mark, a symbol that represents her talent and what she does. With this purpose, she founded, along with her friends, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle, the Cutie Mark Crusaders, a group who seeks to find their cutie mark. She is also Applejack's younger sister.
When she discovered her Cutie Mark, it was actually to help other ponies to find their own cutie marks, and this became the goal of the Cutie Mark Crusaders afterwards.
She is voiced by Michelle Creber.

- She is very supportive of her friends.
- The Cutie Mark Crusaders group was created to Apple Bloom and her friends exactly to help each other in their most wanted goal; finding their own Cutie Mark.
- Even though she's the leader of the crusaders, she never abuses her power, and is usually very fair and responsible with her duties as such.
- She felt remorse for framing her cousin, Babs Seed's float, even though the latter bullied her and her friends, and they successfully saved Babs from their own trap and reformed her.
- Helped Trouble Shoes discover what his cutie mark and talent really meant.
- She stands up against Diamond Tiara, alongside her friends, at Cute-ceañera.
- She forgave Big Mac for ruining the Sisterhood Social and embarrassing her, she also understands that she needs to also spend time with Big Mac and not just Applejack.
- After she got her Cutie Mark, she continued to help other ponies to find theirs and/or discovering what they truly mean.
- She eventually redeemed Diamond Tiara.
- She helps the Pies pull their boulder to the top of the quarry alongside her family.
- Pranking Rainbow Dash back to teach her a lesson of prank limits.
- She helped Cozy Glow with the Friendship test. Despite the latter being a malicious, power hungry pony, neither Apple Boom nor her friends knew that at the time.
- She helped in defeating Cozy Glow by distracting her so the Young Six could free Chancellor Neighsay.
Why Doesn't She Stand Out?[]
- She doesn’t pass the baseline, as her most admirable acts are redeeming a bully and saving someone from a trap.
- She fails the high admirable standards of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic to the Mane Six and their allies (like Starlight Glimmer and Sunburst) since they redeemed a bigger number of more dangerous villains than simple bullies, and while they’re more powerful than Apple Bloom, the standard is so high that the resources doesn’t really matter.
- She, being a kid, can be mischievous at times.
- Stole the Heart Desire's petal just to get a cutie mark, but only for her to get cutie pox as karma.
- Can have arrogant or jerkish moments sometimes.
